Interesting Apps

Perhaps these aren't Must Have Apps for Series 60 phones, but they're very interesting none the less. Some I've tried, some just look interesting and are on my "must look at that" list.

Given that I've just switched my primary phone from an N-Gage to a Nokia 6680 this list is going to be a little camera/picture oriented.

• gsmTagger an app to tag your photos with your current cell id
• Panoman - take 360 degree panoramic pictures with your phone
• S60Zip Zip file manager for Series 60
• Forward - For handling files in your inbox, bluetoothing them to other phones etc. This used to be a must have, but the newer versions of FExplorer also contain this functionality
• Torch by Forward's author Ashley Montanaro, vital for those lighter-waving moments at gigs in this non-smoking era
• Bemused - Control Winamp and much more on your PC from your Series 60 or UIQ phone
• Virtual Radio - A streaming MP3 player for internet radio on flat-rate gprs/3g connections, more channels than Virgin's radio player
• Tube London - London Underground route finder - many other cities too.
• Nokia's Mobile search app is handy - AAS review - but's it's only available for the Nokia 6630 and newer phones.

• Nokia's S60 internet radio and Petteri Kangaslampi's port to S60 2nd edition and S80
• Spodradio internet radio
